Be a part of Volunteer San Diego's largest
service and fundraising event of the year: Volunteer San
Diego's Serve-a-thon (formerly known as
Hands On San Diego) - an event that
mobilizes thousands of volunteers from
employee teams, military, school, church and
family groups as they strengthen their
communities and complete projects throughout
the county during the two day event.
Join us as we focus on Education in San
Diego County and learn about the issue, community needs, viable
solutions and ways to take action through
service. Help us make a difference today by
serving our schools, colleges and
education-focused community organizations. |

Be a Leader -
Are you "Captain" material?
Volunteer San Diego is excited to
announce we are recruiting Site Captains
for Serve-a-thon 2010. There is much to
be done and your leadership is needed!
Site Captains will be placed at each
Serve-a-thon project, work in small
groups, and serve as VSD representatives
and liaisons with community organization
staff. As a Site Captain, you will help
to plan and manage the project. Site
Captains are the backbone of this event;
we couldn't do this event without you!

Serve-a-thon
Committee is Recruiting!
Want to increase the impact of this year's
event? Join the Serve-a-thon Event Committee - a
highly motivated team composted of volunteers,
board members and staff. Together the committee
is responsible for planning and implementing all
aspects of the event from marketing/PR,
sponsorships, volunteer recruitment, awareness
and everything in between.
