The Character Education Workshop is appropriate for all educators (teachers, afterschool staff, administrators, principals and parents) as well as community organizations that currently are, or are interested in, engaging youth to the organization’s mission.
• Learn the nuts and bolts of character education
• Gain project ideas for in-school and afterschool
• Learn how to effectively use service-learning as a tool to teach character education
This workshop is designed to be practical and highly interactive (including modeling lesson plans, group brainstorming sessions, and free curricula). Our intention is that you leave us with the tools necessary for character education success.
There is a $15** registration fee for the workshop. Workshops are appropriate for all educators: teachers, afterschool staff, administrators, principals and parents.
Checks should be made payable to Volunteer San Diego. If you decide not to attend, reimbursements will be granted no later than March 3, 2009. After that, fees become nonrefundable due to copying and other administrative costs incurred.
Workshops are subject to cancellation if there are less than 10 participants registered March 3, 2009.
